Composite Design Lead Engineer (M/F)

Are you a composite design expert ready to take on a new technical challenge? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment where your expertise directly impacts international aerospace programs? This opportunity is for you!

Your Main Responsibilities:
As a Composite Design Lead Engineer, you will guide and deliver high-value engineering work for complex composite structures in an advanced aerospace context. You will supervise a design team, coordinate deliverables, and serve as the main technical point of contact for customers and industrial partners.

You will:

Develop complex mechanical design concepts in composite materials

Define and validate BOMs, 3D models, and technical drawings

Review and validate engineering deliverables across the product lifecycle

Lead design reviews and ensure achievement of engineering milestones

Apply design methodologies: DFMEA, GD&T, Design for Manufacturing

Coordinate with production and prototyping teams

Create design guidelines and best practices

Identify and manage key technical risks

Support major project phases (ITCM, PDR, CDR)

Ensure timely delivery of composite design deliverables

Profil recherché

Technical Skills Required:
Proven experience in the design of composite mechanical parts

Strong command of CAD tools (e.g., CATIA V5) and PLM systems (e.g., ENOVIA, Smarteam)

Knowledge of composite manufacturing processes

Familiarity with aerospace standards and industry practices

Experience developing lean design roadmaps and technical standards

International project exposure is highly appreciated

Leadership & Soft Skills:
Strong customer orientation and service mindset

Excellent team leadership and coordination abilities

Confident decision-making in a technical and operational context

Clear communication and ability to build trust with stakeholders

Autonomous, rigorous, results-driven

Key Information:
Position based in Oise, France
