Country Compliance & Data Protection Manager - Your future position?
As a Country Ethics & Compliance Manager, you will implement, run and maintain up-to-date all elements of the Country Compliance Management System to meet applicable legal and regulatory requirements as well as best industry standards and maintain requisite documentation.

- Lead Compliance & Data Protection activities in all legal entities of the country and reporting to the
Finance Manager France
Ethics Compliance responsibilities
- Implement, run and maintain up-to-date all elements of the Compliance Management System to meet applicable legal (e.g. Law Sapin II) and regulatory requirements as well as best industry standards and maintain requisite documentation:
- Managing the roll-out and implementation of global Compliance policies across all legal entities in the country and monitoring the adherence to these policies and procedures
- Developing local Compliance policies as required
- Preparing the country annual Compliance risk assessment and the analysis/reporting
- Monitoring completion rates of Compliance trainings and facilitation of Compliance training sessions
- Communicating on compliance matters and answering compliance questions in the country
- Managing customer requests on the acceptance of their Supplier Code of Conducts and issuance of reservation letters for all legal entities in the country
- Supporting the Group Compliance team with Third Party Due Diligence requests
- Investigation of compliance allegations in the country
- Assist and co-lead special projects as required
Data Protection responsibilities
- Overseeing Compliance with Data Protection laws & regulations
- Implementing Data Protection policies and training employees
- Be the point of contact to local authorities (CNIL) and managing any in queries or investigations
- Conducting regular audits to identify any potential risks managing personal data
General responsibilities
- Build constructive and effective relationships with cross functional teams and stakeholders
- Support and work in close collaboration with the Group Compliance team and the Group Data Protection
team based at the Givaudan Headquarters in Switzerland - Communicate effectively with internal partners (Company Managers, Finance Managers, HR Managers EHS/Sustainability team, Legal team, Data Protection Officer)
- Proactively work to continuously improve processes

Your professional profile includes :
- University or College degree (preferably Law/Finance)
- Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in Compliance, Data Protection, and Internal Audit in an international environment,
- Fluent in French and English
- Ability to reach high quality standards, to pay attention to details and to respect deadlines
- Strong project management, planning and organizational skills
- Ability to manage conflicts and to negotiate successfully in an environment of diversity
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Service oriented mindset bringing value to the organization
- Ability to work independently and committed to continuous personal development
- Experience in SAP ERP system and good knowledge of MS office
