At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.
This is an in-office position and you’ll be expected to work full-time in an office location, and therefore must live within commuting distance from your assigned office. You will work from this office beginning on your first day.

You will join our team at the Strasbourg Datacenter in France which consists of Datacenter Operations and Critical Infrastructure staff members. What you'll get to do...
- Work in rotating shifts during the week, weekends, and holidays, independently or with a peer, following an extensive training period
- Manage ServiceNow ticketing system to support internal and external partners or customers within valid SLAs, and utilize ServiceNow CMDB and logistical modules
- Perform audits for break/fix inventory, server inventory, rack map audits, and hardware in the datacenter, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Handle logistical tasks such as receiving and shipping hardware, maintaining and stocking supply rooms, racking, stacking, cabling, connecting hardware according to drawings, design standards, and patch schemes, and consolidating hardware to optimize datacenter space
- Collaborate with cross-functional global teams—including Networking, Product, Storage, and external co-location teams—to resolve issues and contribute to project work as needed
Your experience should include…
- Strong understanding of datacenter environments, including their construction, operation, and critical infrastructure systems (electrical, cooling, fire suppression), with the ability to support the DCCE team as needed following training
- Solid knowledge of the latest IT operating systems (Windows, Linux, Cent-OS), as well as advanced familiarity with hardware components, RAID systems (importing, exporting, troubleshooting, configuring), and troubleshooting IT systems and their interrelations
- Thorough grasp of networking principles, including TCP-IP, LAN, WAN, VLAN, various network topologies, and datacenter network devices such as core routers, distribution switches, and top-of-rack switches
- Expertise in different types of network cabling (fiber, copper, breakout), optics, and relevant tools for troubleshooting connectivity issues
- Ability to perform risk analysis to minimize business impact, utilize AI tools in daily work, and communicate effectively in English via email, Slack, and conversations

- Experience with Logistical processes and know how to create/optimize these
