What you’ll be doing:
You provide support to the Head of Financial Crime at AXA Partners for the implementation of an effective AML, ABC and sanctions compliance program across AXA Partners worldwide, to meet AXA Group and local regulatory requirements. As part of the AXA Partners Compliance Team, you will also work on global projects across all Geographies and Business Units.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Support the Head of Financial Crime in developing AXA Partners’ Financial Crime Compliance program, globally.
- Support the Head of Financial Crime in assisting AXA Partners’ entities in developing their ABC, AML and Sanctions compliance programs, including policies, procedures, training programs, related technology and monitoring processes.
- In conjunction with the Head of Financial Crime, provide expert support of AXA Sanctions technology (Netreveal) for use by AXA Partners entities to meet legal and Group compliance requirements.
- Support the Head of Financial Crime in ensuring accurate, timely and consistent ABC/AML/Sanctions information/reports are provided to AXA Partners’ senior management and AXA Group Compliance, or external stakeholders, as appropriate.
- Where appropriate, act as an escalation point for AXA Partners entities on AML / Sanctions technology matters, before further escalation to the Head of Financial Crime or AXA Group Compliance.
- Assist in the oversight at a high level of AML / Sanctions systems, financial crime related controls across AXA Partners. Help monitor daily financial crime related regulatory developments.
- Support the Head of Financial Crime with, and participate as required, on-site compliance reviews at AXA Partners entities world-wide, identifying compliance gaps and assisting in the development of processes to remediate these gaps
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum of 2/3 years working in AML-CFT/Sanctions compliance and/or within a regulated insurance company or group.
- Understanding and experience of insurance regulatory framework.
- Ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) in English (French would be a plus).
- Ability to meet deadline, prioritise, multi-task and maintain flexibility in a fast paced changing environment.
- Ability to travel to the business operation to oversee effectiveness of local compliance programs.
- Commercial acumen and ability to influence with persuasive skills and a high level of personal integrity
- Critical thinking and good analytical skills
