We currently have a vacancy for a Operational Security Expert, fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Strasbourg, France. The work will be carried out either on the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated into the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Tasks:
- Help ensure that the IS is kept secure;
- Analysis and qualification of alerts (SOC/SIEM/EDR);
- Processing security tickets submitted by users;
- Provide user assistance for security issues;
- Monitor of POC phases when necessary on new products;
- Coordinate information security issues with the IT outsourcing team;
- Provide security log analysis and alert qualification capabilities;
- Collaborate with security personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, preferably in computer science, combined with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Experience in project management, administration and operation of IT resources;
- Experience in deploying security solutions;
- Experience in scripting (Python/Bash) and significant Cloud experience (Azure/AWS);
- Experience in responding to security incidents and cybersecurity investigation and forensics;
- Proficiency in Linux / Windows operating systems;
- Good knowledge of Docker swarm and good networking skills;
- Good knowledge of web hosting under Apache/nGinx;
- Good knowledge of backup, virtualization and paravirtualization - Configuration and maintenance of security tools (SOC/SIEM/EDR);
- Knowledge of security tools (Cloudflare/ELK/Antispam);
- Excellent command of the English language, and good knowledge of the French language.
