The Opportunity:
In this role, you will have to ensure the complete management of construction, renovation or maintenance projects for chemical installations, from placing orders to operational monitoring of construction sites, guaranteeing compliance with deadlines, costs, quality, standards inherent to the projects carried out and HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) standards.
Major job duties responsibilities:
Site Supervision:
Plan and coordinate the work of the various trades.
Ensure on-site presence to monitor work progress.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality procedures, and applicable regulations.
Manage technical contingencies and propose corrective solutions.
Project Management:
Develop and monitor the overall project schedule.
Monitor budgets and performance indicators.
Lead site meetings and prepare reports.
Ensure communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Project Closure:
Carry out work acceptances.
Participate in the commissioning of facilities.
Capitalize on feedback to improve future projects.
Order Management:
Identify equipment, service, and subcontracting needs.
Draft technical specifications in collaboration with the engineering teams.
Issue calls for tenders, analyze proposals, and select suppliers.
Track orders through to on-site delivery, in collaboration with the purchasing and logistics departments.
Qualification needed (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications):
Knowledge of chemical processes and associated constraints (e.g., ATEX, ICPE).
Proficiency in project management (scheduling, budgeting, coordination).
Familiarity with HSE standards and applicable regulations.
Ability to read technical drawings and communicate with engineers, technicians, and suppliers.
Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, responsiveness, and organizational ability.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities (Those necessary to perform the job competently):
Significant experience in project management (scheduling, budgeting, coordination).
Degree in Chemical process engineering or equivalent experience.

ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT (Under Typical Positions)
Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level.
Location: Site in the Centre region, Loiret, Briare
Work assignments are diversified. Examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems. New alternatives may be developed to resolve problems.
A frequent volume of work and deadlines impose strain on routine basis.
Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs.
