Job Description Summary
Based on the activities assigned by his/her hierarchy, the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Manager is responsible for steering equipment procurement on the basis of sales forecasts and manufacturer availability.
He/she leads and coordinates the flow of equipment deliveries to customers, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (operational teams, assembly sales teams,manufacturer(s)).
Job Description
SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES - Optimize sourcing on the basis of commercial and manufacturer(s) criteria (commercial potential of models, lead times, etc.) - Ensure reliable forecasts in collaboration with marketing and sales teams - Co-lead reviews of its scope (demand review, supply review, financial review) - Reliable updating of business tools shared with the manufacturer(s) - Monitor stock levels by equipment model - Develop and maintain a privileged relationship with the manufacturer(s) - Optimizing the order-to-cash process - Transmit supply information (availability, lead times, etc.) to sales teams and customers - Manage the order portfolio in collaboration with internal stakeholders - Remove obstacles to machine assembly, delivery and invoicing - Manage invoicing forecasts and ensure invoiced amounts, and identify, if necessary where appropriate, the differences - Manage and track internal and external monitoring indicators - Manage the continuous improvement of its activity (procedures, tools, etc.) RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE FOR ACTION - Be a reference for supply flows, inventory levels and associated financial commitments - Be a privileged contact for the manufacturer(s) - Know and strictly apply health and safety rules (personal protective equipment, procedures, etc.) - Support and guarantee the performance of your perimeter - Know and apply internal and external compliance rules and procedures PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE 5 years' higher education in the supply chain field and 5 years' significant experience preferred SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE(S) Technical skill(s) - In-depth supply chain knowledge - General knowledge of products (ranges, functions, etc.) - In-depth knowledge of IT tools and information systems - General knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations - Advanced intermediate level in English (B2) Behavioral skill(s) - Analytical skills - Relational skills - Rigor - Responsiveness - Pedagogy - Adaptability
