Main Responsibilities::
- Develop and review technical documentation for piping systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance related to piping materials, design, and fabrication processes.
- Participate in piping layout reviews, ensuring optimal design efficiency and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, mechanical design, and field operations.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for piping design changes.
- Support procurement activities through technical evaluations of vendor proposals and materials.
The Technical Piping Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring that the piping systems are designed to meet project requirements while adhering to safety and quality standards. The engineer will work closely with project engineers and other stakeholders to optimize system performance and reliability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in piping engineering, preferably within the Oil & Gas or industrial sectors.
- Strong understanding of piping codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.).
- Experience with design software and analysis tools (AutoCAD, CAESAR II, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
