Team & Context
As a senior procurement officer and under the supervision of the Indirect Procurement Manager you will be responsible for leading Information Systems procurement activities.
Acting as a strategic business partner to help operational teams anticipate, formalize and negotiate their purchasing needs, you will manage the end-to-end procurement cycle in accordance with company guidelines while ensuring a high internal satisfaction, and will work in collaboration with your manager on selected deals.
On a daily basis, and by sharing and driving improvements, you will as well contribute to the evolution of the Murex procurement organization
Your missions
- Strengthen cooperation with the main internal teams to identify purchasing priorities upstream, as well as areas for optimization.
- Establish and manage a panel of preferred suppliers on the basis of cost, quality, risk and sustainability criteria, in accordance with the procurement guidelines.
- Manage and monitor the full contract life cycle, ensuring supplier risk management and supplier performance tracking
- Participate with operational teams to sourcing initiatives and fact-based negotiations (supplier and industry analysis, benchmarks, cost structure analysis).

Manage RFxs by
- Participating in the development of specifications by challenging the needs of operational internal teams as a Business Partner,
- Launching and executing RFIs and RFPs,
- Negotiating contracts and ensuring alignment with legal policy, quality and cost targets.
- Deliver relevant reporting and KPIs on your activity.
- Support the implementation of procurement policies and processes across operational teams and regions and identify innovative procurement solutions that provide process efficiencies for the organization.
- Maintain key contract and supplier information in our contract management system, to ensure an up-to-date contract and supplier repository.
Your profile
- Graduated from a Master degree in Procurement, Business and/or from an engineering school with a minimum of 5 years of successful experience (excluding internships and apprenticeships) as a Buyer in a Procurement organization or as a consultant in a technological/fintech environment similar to ours with a strong interest in technological aspects (software, cloud, SaaS…).
- Strong technical knowledge of IT procurement (especially software) to effectively interact with Operational Teams as well as suppliers.
- Ability to understand, pre-analyze contracts and collaborate effectively with the Legal team
- Familiarity with procurement best practices and tools; advanced Excel proficiency.
- Proven negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, persuasiveness, empathy, and adaptability.
- Autonomous and results-oriented, with the ability to manage ambiguity and drive initiatives.
- Fluent in English and French; and comfortable working in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.
