Job Description:
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a System Safety Engineer (H/F) to join our Safety & Reliability department based in Toulouse, France.
Join a central team of engineering operations, essential to ensure the safety of aircraft systems. This international team works on all systems of Airbus commercial aircraft (including the A400M), throughout the product lifecycle, from research to in-service operation. It collaborates with many stakeholders (architects, designers, certification, flight tests, etc.). Joining this team offers the opportunity to work on complex technical subjects while developing a wide and deep range of technical skills.

Your Challenges :
You will perform safety analyses and provide safety expertise to the system design teams, with responsibility for authoring, contributing to, and/or reviewing the following:
Safety and reliability requirements cascaded to system design teams and supplier
Functional Hazard Analyses (FHAs)
System Safety Analyses (PSSAs, SSAs)
Common Cause Analyses, including Particular Risk Analyses (PRAs), Zonal Safety Analyses (ZSAs), Common Mode Analyses (CMAs)
Failure Modes and Effects Analyses and Summaries (FMEAs, FMESs)
You will be involved in resolution of in-service occurrences, in support of the continued airworthiness of the Airbus fleet
According to your experiences and preferences, you will also have opportunity to take the lead in management of safety activities, as a project focal point or work package leader
You will also drive or contribute to initiatives that improve our way of working and support digitalisation of our methods

An autonomous, flexible and proactive approach – you’ll be expected to take responsibility for different topics from an early stage, to manage several activities in parallel, and to adapt to changing priorities.
An eye for detail, coupled with an ability to see the overall picture and to understand complex technical interactions
An ability to communicate and work with many different stakeholders, from different technical domains, different functions, and different countries
Advanced level in English and French. The team is based in France, but most of our documentation and many of our interactions with stakeholders are in English.
This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
