Supporting our customers is our priority at Edwards.

For that reason, we are now looking for 2 new Sales Managers in the Critical Care division to cover the French market needs.
They will define and lead the execution of commercial tactics for the given territories, in alignment with the country strategies while achieving/exceeding commercial results.

Here are the main Roles & Responsibilities;

1/ Supports sales activity of territory/account managers in complex selling situations by interacting with key stakeholders at the C-suite Level while developing and leading the execution of both short- and long-term territory/account plans.

Identify risk, develop and lead the implementation of projects and strategic activities which may include negotiations (e.g., GPO, tender strategy) with internal and external parties.

2/ Lead and coach a team and oversee sales activity related to Edwards monitors, consumables & innovative disposables. Set goals and targets for all territories and team members as well as business planning / stakeholder mapping for Key Accounts. Develop a robust talent development plan in alignment with functional growth strategies of Critical Care including building and defining clear areas of responsibilities of the team.

3/ Drive the execution of the Commercial Excellence strategy for the given territories in alignment with the country strategy while achieving/exceeding commercial results.

Other related duties: Attend assigned meetings. Perform ad-hoc analysis and complete monthly business review with leadership and team members. Act as the deputy for the Business Unit Manager on specific projects or meetings (e.g., Business Reviews, AOP...)

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field with strong commercial operations background required; Master's degree in related field preferred

  • Proven successful project management & leadership skills

  • Experience working in healthcare industry preferred

  • Knowledge of French health policy, funding, and hospital management

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making

  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives

  • Potential to manage assigned team to provide coaching and feedback, to maintain the highest standard of professional education of the team

  • Strict attention to detail

  • Ability to work and excel within a fast paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment

  • Dedicated to quality client service and pro-active and responsive to client needs

  • Develop peer, cross functional and cross business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness

  • Seen as strategic resource to customers organization, based on ability to develop innovative, mutually beneficial partnerships and solutions

  • Fluency in French & English is required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools and systems
