Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including workstations, dining areas, and equipment.
- Operate coffee brewing equipment and maintain it in good working condition.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management when supplies need replenishing.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Engage with customers to build rapport and enhance their experience.
- Stay informed about menu items, promotions, and new products to effectively communicate with customers.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for coffee culture and eagerness to learn about different brewing methods and products.
