The job holder is responsible for providing key internal decision makers with data information and insights on current business and decisions for future strategy and initiatives. The job holder is responsible for daily management of the business insight activities and sales force effectiveness reporting.
Key areas of responsibility
Business Intelligence
- Rebuilds Business Intelligence skills in partnership with global team
- Identifies the necessary market data specific to France, proposes the investment (to be validated with DG France and the global team)
- Develops ROI analysis tools in the context of an organization with no active sales force (excluding fertility)
- Develops an extensive understanding of the women health and fertility market, using the tool already provided by the global team and combining them with local tools when necessary
- Manages all the operations associated with the data preparation, warehousing, reporting and analytics within all internal platforms (e.g. Power BI) including the development, maintenance and improvement of various monthly brand dashboards and reporting regarding key result indicators for regular reporting
- Acts as a strategic advisor to the business by leveraging functional expertise to support commercial planning efforts by providing an objective viewpoint based on an in-depth understanding and analysis of commercial information
- Understands the sales force business needs and the different data sets, technologies and techniques available for measuring and tracking sales force effectiveness so that you can provide high quality support
- Identifies market analysis requirements and conducts such analysis in close collaboration with the marketing & sales team
- Manage data suppliers (e.g. IQVIA), including identification of data needs in collaboration with internal stakeholders and negotiation of data purchases with vendors in collaboration with procurement
- Does consistent competitive analysis of industry and key competitor behaviour and frame insights
- Does pricing analysis of key dependent markets and factors that influence
- Generates market share predictive models to help scenario planning with different strategic and operational choices
- Uses and updates business intelligence tools and processes
Logistics
- Monitors the internal stocks at our distributor and with the logistic/procurement team at global level in order to ensure that forecasts are consistent with commercial demands and forecasts
- Updates the internal forecasting tool
- Monitors direct sales processes and ensures that the company is compliant with the national guidelines
- Participates in coordinating meetings with all players (distributors, direct sales providers, global team)
Business Development
- Contributes to the analysis of projects in business development (market insights, forecasting)
Key deliverables:
- Collects data and prepares periodic short-, medium- and long-term insights into the business performance and strategic choices considering competitive behaviour, regulatory changes, production and raw material variables, pricing, marketing and distribution channels in key markets
- Supports monthly reporting with insights' reports and communication materials that can be shared with Leadership teams and business stakeholders
- Improves forecasts' accuracy and business performance predictions
Key competencies
- Having significant experience in market research and/or Sales Force Effectiveness is necessary, ideally in women’s health
- Very strong data centric analytical skills and ability to extract and visualize insights
- Ability to produce KPI’s reports (Excel pivot table or others) and Excellent ability to build relevant communication material, including PowerPoint slides
- Be able to use and participate in the development of various dashboards and the CRM (international tool)
- Excellent business partner within the company and with outside agencies
- Combines a strong intellectual agility with change and performance agility to maintain curiosity, apply analytical rigor and use business acumen to connect the dots
- Respect the internal compliance processes in the context of implementing tools and market studies
- Fluent in English both orally and in writing
