The Senior Category Manager is responsible for the strategy and development of its brand portfolio, implementing the appropriate on- and off-line offering and driving its activation within the EME region in order to achieve revenue targets.

STRATEGY
- Analyze the market, track trends, and set Sephora's priorities to drive customers to the brand and create differentiation
- Manage the brand portfolio by maximizing sales, while ensuring profitability and good inventory management with the right mix of brands and products.
- Be responsible for effectively communicating the strategy to the 21 markets, have the ability to convince and simplify, as well as monitor the successful execution of the brand portfolio
OFFER AND MERCHANDISING
- Develop brands and ensure their successful expression in Sephora activation plan.
- Seek out new brands to nurture Sephora's image as a category destination
- To be the driving force behind new concepts to enhance the offer and optimise all business levers (KCP, services, sets ect)
CATEGORY MANAGEMENT/OPTIMIZATION
- Assortment improvement and optimization
- Monthly budget tracking of all brands in the portfolio
- Recommendation for discontinuation and end-of-life follow-up
- Distribution recommendations to increase productivity and track changes
- Participation in the pricing & discount strategy in coordination with the RGM
- Management of new product forecasts at the regional level
CROSS-CUTTING PROJECTS
Reporting directly to the Makeup Brands Director Europe, the senior category manager will also have to demonstrate agility in the management of cross-functional projects aimed at maximizing the visibility and performance of the category, particularly on intra-category projects and also global projects for the Offer on the extra-category part.
You will work in close collaboration with the Supply Chain, marketing, BPM, legal teams, while ensuring and defending your interests and issues related to your category and your brands.

- 4 to 7 years of experience in retail or digital marketing and knows the world of the category well
- University / business school education.
- International profile (fluent English required).
- Key skills: organizational leadership and rigor, proactivity, action-oriented and able to manage several subjects at once, analytical and comfortable with numbers, good command of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Qualities appreciated: product expertise, passion, excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit, initiative, curiosity and autonomy, negotiation skills.
