Position Description
Based in Lyon (France) or Göteborg (Sweden), you will be part of the Electrical Distribution team with colleagues based both in Göteborg and Lyon. You will work in a global environment with exiting challenges.
As a Commodity Buyer for the Wiring Harness scope , you will be responsible of managing the portfolio's continuous improvement & performance.
Together with your purchasing and cross-functional network, you will proactively drive all relevant activities, to continuously secure a best-in-class supplier QDCFTSR (*) performance during serial life.
Key responsibilities
- Drive all relevant activities to deliver QDCFTSR (*) targets
- Drive commercial negotiations with suppliers with a Partnership mindset
- Ensure contracts implementation
- Identify, mitigate and monitor risks and supplier crisis
- Actively contribute to the team development, by bringing improvement ideas, support your peers, sharing good cases and ask for support when needed
(*) QDCFTSR = Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Technology, Sustainability and Risk Management.
Who are you?
- You already worked as a buyer in the Automotive Industry
- You are a strong and agile team player, eager to learn and improve
- You have the ability to drive change and dare to try new things
- You have a can-do approach with a positive mindset, a high level of energy, and you are ready to tackle challenges
- You are comfortable in conflict and likes to negotiate
- You demonstrate strong communication skills with internal cross-functional teams, in front of suppliers and in a multi-cultural environment.
- You have an adequate academic education, such as business or engineering background
- You are fluent in English
