Quantum Systems activity has developed a strong expertise with quantum sensors. Those revolutionary instruments, at the frontier of science and technology, are built up from optoelectronics subassemblies gathering full of features for very high-end performances. You will work within a division of around fifty people. This dynamic team brings together a broad range of competencies including optics, lasers, electronics, computing, system, instrumentation, mechanics, ultra-high vacuum and atomic physics.
Products responsibilities:
- Absolute quantum gravimeters capable of measuring gravity with a relative accuracy of 10-9, dedicated to many geophysics applications including volcanology, geodesy, hydrology.
- Differential quantum gravimeters measuring gravity’s vertical gradient to 10-10 g/m.
Your duties and responsibilities:
- Represent Exail to customers both internally and externally.
- Remote support to customer:
- Follow-up and respond hot-line, hot-mail, and customer requests.
- Document, analyze, report, resolve and record customer claims on the database.
- On-site support to customer:
- Pre-survey, installation, commissioning, training, demo, technical assistance.
- In-situ maintenance & service operations.
- Prepare, execute, feedback, debrief, report, and follow up.
- Within global geographical zone.
- Internal support:
- Interact with all Exail teams to move forward your support cases.
- Assist sales team and project teams on pre-sale and after sales activities.
- Factory maintenance and follow up with customer.
- Link with expert teams for continuous knowledge and experience improvement
- Team work:
- Go through continuous internal as well as self-directed training on all related products.
- Own and continuously improve back-office support procedures and tools.
- Share and get knowledge, develop skills, with the team.
Your expertise:
- Engineer or PhD on cold atoms or at least on quantum technologies/atomic science.
- Relevant experience working with quantum sensors, scientific discipline.
- Data analysis and processing, ideally using Python.
- Service-oriented attitude and results-oriented culture to provide customer satisfaction.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Resourceful.
- Self-motivated, technically curious, ability to think and work independently.
- Exceptional communication: verbal and written.
- Multi-cultural awareness and experience.
- Fluent English required.
