Expert Quantum Error Correction (QEC) Researcher

Responsibilities:

• Participate in research and development of Alice & Bob’s fault-tolerant quantum computing architecture.
• Develop decoding algorithms for quantum error correcting codes, biased-noise quantum architectures as well as classical error correcting codes.
• Implement and benchmark proof-of-concept decoding algorithms.
• Collaborate with other teams to implement QEC experiments and fault-tolerant protocols.
• Partner with other teams to perform resource estimation for specific choice of QEC, decoding fault-tolerant gate sets and applications.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years (post PhD) of research in the field or equivalent experience, publication of academic papers as a lead author, participation in top conferences in QEC.
• A PhD in Quantum Error Correction (QEC).
• Expertise in programing QEC simulation (e.g stim).
• Expertise in bosonic codes and classical coding theory.
• Professional-level English proficiency, both written and spoken.
