Launch Excellence

Main responsibilities:
- Lead process development and scale-up to support clinical trials, launch and commercial manufacturing of small molecule drug substances.
- Ensure scientific excellence and regulatory compliance in data generation, submissions, and lifecycle activities.
- Drive innovation and second-generation process development to enhance performance, sustainability, and supply continuity.
- Provide technical support to commercial manufacturing and ensure robustness in troubleshooting and strategic investments.
- Oversee technology transfers from R&D and external partners to industrial production sites.
- Manage resources, budgets, and cross-functional teams to deliver on strategic objectives and operational execution.
- Advance talent development and a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the development organization.
- Represent MSAT in site governance and global networks.
About you
- PhD or master's degree in chemical engineering, organic chemistry or related scientific field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical process development or MSAT.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing technical teams and cross-functional projects.
- Expertise in chemical process development, scale-up, technology transfer and manufacturing support.
- Solid understanding of small molecule manufacturing operations, GMP, CMC regulations, and HSE requirements.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to manage complexity and ambiguity.
- Excellent communication, team leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to drive innovation and promote a culture of scientific curiosity and continuous improvement.
- Track record of transformational leadership in matrixed organizations
- Experience with flow chemistry methodology
- English: Fluent
- French: Proficiency is a plus
