Summary
The Infrastructure Project Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Backend product line manager in the Cloud department by overseeing the development of a Global File Transfer Product through effective project coordination and governance.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the build of the File Transfer Product.
- Accountable for project delivery (on time, on budget, on scope).
- Manage a project team including different stakeholders.
- Review and negotiate project plans and schedules.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation for the internal Gating Product Build process.
- Develop a robust Business Case for a Global solution.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor project performance.
- Review project progress to ensure alignment with plans.
- Ensure execution aligns with project management processes.
- Monitor and manage project budget and expenditure.
- Identify, track, and address project risks and issues.
- Liaise with stakeholders and technical/business communities.
- Communicate project status and provide timely information to stakeholders.
- Manage change requests regarding budget, planning, and scope.
- Handle procurement and contract matters with Group Procurement.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in project management within a cloud or IT environment.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with stakeholders.
- Capability to manage risk and issues effectively in projects.
- Knowledge of project management standards and methodologies.
- Familiarity with File Transfer products or services.
- Experience with managing multiple stakeholders across various functions.
- Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2).
