We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with hands-on experience in router installation, configuration, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of networking equipment, the ability to follow installation procedures precisely, and the expertise to ensure optimal network performance and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and test routers and related networking hardware.
- Perform physical mounting, cabling, and interconnection of network devices.
- Configure routing protocols, VLANs, and security settings as per project requirements.
- Conduct hardware diagnostics and troubleshoot installation issues.
- Coordinate with remote network teams during cutovers and configuration changes.
- Document all installation steps, configurations, and network diagrams.
- Perform post-installation testing to verify functionality and performance.
- Replace or decommission old or faulty routers following proper procedures.
- Ensure compliance with network security policies during installation.
- Provide technical support during and after installation as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer, Network Technician, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and TCP/IP fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar enterprise-grade routers.
- Ability to use console cables, USB-to-RJ45 adapters, and network testing tools.
- Familiarity with firewall rules and basic security configurations.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow technical instructions.

Pay: 170.00€ - 180.00€ per day
