The Key Account Manager for an important Food customer and Regional Mgr E. Europe develops and executes the strategy together with the Business Director and is accountable for continued profitable share growth.
- Ensure customer quality and service expectations are consistently met; eliminate or reduce customer complaints.
- Help the organisation to achieve or exceed sales and profitability goals
- Grow opportunity account sales.
Support business teams to achieve commercial and product line targets aligned with the strategies of the business units. These activities will include new business targets, price increases, consignment / call-off inventory control and reduction, etc. Will be required to work closely with other members of the business team to achieve these goals.
Manage and grow the account and coordinate sales and technical projects.
Manage and grow sales in E. Europe (mainly Poland, Hungary, Czechia, Ukraine).
Coordinate with Customer Technical Service team to arrange for required technical support for line trials and customer support.
Develop and implement sales plan in conjunction with supervisor and business teams
Develop a strategy to sell target customers and identify items or product categories that require specific attention in support of this strategy in conjunction with the supervisor.
Responsible for compiling monthly sales and market reports.
Communicate competitive information, new products and selling issues to supervisor.
Communicate extended product knowledge in Packaging technology.
Attend coatings seminars and trade shows
Manage product trials at designated customer facilities.
Support national accounts specifications approval process.
Maintain contact with laboratory on current technical issues.
Assist with equipment installations and various line or equipment modifications/adjustments.
Conduct technical training seminars at customers’ facilities.
Manage product complaints process, coordinate communication between Technical and the customer and decide best way to resolve problem.
Advise customers of product line changes and improvements.
Maintain expertise in product finishes equipment use and surface preparation.
Assist customers with product inventory control/re-ordering.
Train customers on product knowledge and application methods.
Maintain customer technical service issues on file for follow-up.
Collect reliable customer/territory information and estimate individual customer potential.
Determine where customer is in the overall selling process and what steps are necessary to accelerate the process.
3 years/5 years of commercial experience in Packaging Coating,
Fluent English, any other languages is a strong asset,
Excellent communication skills,
Project Management and ideally a previous Key Account Management experience
Flexibility to travel up to 50-75%
