We are seeking a highly motivated and multidisciplinary Prudential Regulation and Strategy Analyst
Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for a student with a strong foundation in economics and public
policy, who also brings creativity, leadership, and cross-cultural communication skills. You will contribute to
research, data analysis, and strategic initiatives that support our mission in regulatory engagement, both
internally and externally.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the team's external advocacy efforts and internal preparation engagement on forthcoming prudential regulation (e.g. the Solvency II review and the Insurance Recovery and Resolution Directive) and the removal of trade barriers to cross-border reinsurance globally.
- Revamp the internal tool to track and share prudential regulation and market access developments based on user feedback and leveraging Data vizualisation & AI automation tools. Assess how to leverage AI to navigate regulatory texts.
- Support the drafting of position papers, internal briefings, and regulatory analysis.
- Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies as needed.
Qualifications:
Required experience & competencies
- Currently pursuing a degree in economics, finance, actuarial science, political science, or a related field.
- Strong interest in insurance regulation, financial stability, and public affairs.
- Excellent analytical and writing skills.
- Familiarity with Excel and interest in AI and Data vizualisation tools is an asset.
