About the AgencyOur client, eu-LISA, is the European Union Agency responsible for operating large-scale IT systems that help keep Europe safe and support cooperation in areas like security, migration, and justice. Civitta, in cooperation with Talenta, provides temporary agency workers to eu-LISA.
We are looking for A Security Assistant to support the Security Unit – Protective Security Sector within the Corporate Services Department. The position is based in Strasbourg, France.
In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation of site security by supervising shifts, supporting emergency response, coordinating access accreditation, and contributing to security training and procedures. You will work closely with security guards, reception staff, and internal teams to guarantee a secure, well-regulated environment for the Agency.
What will you do:
- Supervise, assign, and evaluate guarding and reception shift personnel.
- Conduct daily briefings, plan assignments, and assess shift needs.
- Oversee shift operations, resolve issues, and support emergency situations.
- Participate in the onboarding and training of security guards.
- Deliver training and create site security policies and operational procedures.
- Manage access credentials (issue, renew, revoke ID badges and cards).Align operational procedures with Agency security frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal security standards.
- Provide recommendations for security improvements based on risk assessments.
- Act as the main point of contact for site security inquiries.
- Support stakeholder coordination, investigations, and reporting.
- Operate and monitor access, CCTV, alarm, and communications systems.
What is required of your profile:
- Post-secondary education attested by a diploma (advantage: university degree).
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience (security or related).Experience in high-security environments.
- Valid security guard license (or willingness to undergo certification).
- First Aid/CPR and Fire Safety training (or willingness to undergo).
- Knowledge of access control, surveillance, and visitor management.
- Familiarity with emergency protocols and security response procedures.
- Good command of English (minimum B2 level) and French (minimum B2 level).
- EU or Schengen Associated State nationality (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Switzerland).
- Personnel Security Clearance at SECRET UE / EU SECRET level, or readiness to undergo the clearance procedure.
- Ability to work in shifts (07:00–14:30 / 12:00–19:30) and respond effectively in emergencies.
