Your main goal will be to provide insights to drive decision making based on financial data and proactively partner with the business to ensure financial health and unlock sustainable growth.
To do so, you’ll take ownership of reporting and analysis while driving cross-functional collaboration across the company:
Own and improve financial reporting
Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages (P&L, cash flow, KPIs) for leadership and external stakeholders
Deliver budget vs. actual analysis down to department level, providing variance insights and commentary
Support annual budgeting and rolling forecasts processes across the company
Drive business partnering and strategic insights
Partner with GTM teams to analyze funnel performance, CAC, and campaign ROI
Conduct ad hoc business analysis and modeling for compensation, hiring, or capacity planning
Proactively deliver financial insights that help teams improve performance and hit goals
Support compliance and process scaling
Contribute to consolidation, VAT declarations, transfer pricing, and audit preparation
Help design and implement scalable finance processes and tooling for growth
Support ERP/reporting system enhancements to improve data quality and automation
REQUIREMENTS
Must-haves
FP&A experience: You have 5+ years of experience in FP&A, controlling, or strategic finance, including 2–3+ years in fast-paced tech or SaaS environments
Analytical skills: You’re fluent in Excel and Google Sheets, and love turning data into actionable insights
Financial modeling & reporting: You’re confident in tracking budgets, building forecasts, and analyzing financial performance
Tool proficiency: You’ve worked with accounting systems (e.g. Datev, NetSuite, Odoo) and planning/reporting tools (e.g. Abacum, Causal, Pigment)
SaaS metrics knowledge: You understand key GTM metrics like CAC, payback, funnel efficiency, and retention
Cross-functional collaboration: You’re comfortable working with People, Sales, Marketing, and Leadership
Detail-orientation: You spot issues early, communicate clearly, and are known for being dependable
Communication: You communicate effectively across written and verbal channels, at all levels
Curiosity & business sense: You ask why, dig into trends, and help drive better decisions
Nice-to-haves
Education: Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, or related field
Early career in audit or banking: 2–3 years’ experience in audit, advisory, or investment banking
PLG mindset: You’re familiar with product-led growth metrics and strategy
Python: You’ve used or want to use code to enhance workflows
Tech-savvy: You experiment with tools and seek automation opportunities
Compliance knowledge: Experience with VAT, transfer pricing, or IFRS
Remote experience: You’ve worked in async-first, distributed teams
