Job Description
The Position:
The Senior Field Service Engineer (FSE) is responsible for managing service contracts related to the maintenance of installed systems in Spain and Portugal.
Due to the increasing number of systems in service and upcoming deployments, this role is essential to ensure efficient management of the installed base, maintain client relationships, and support local partners in their activities.
The FSE supports the current supervisor for the Iberian region and contributes to the installation, maintenance, and reliability of systems across the Iberian region (Spain and Portugal), with occasional interventions in France and Africa.
Qualifications
Roles and Responsibilities
Service Contract Management:
Real-time monitoring of the spare parts contract.
Review and approval of replacement requests under the terms of the contract.
Client and Partner Relationship Management:
Maintain a trusted relationship with customers and local partners.
Act as the operational point of contact to ensure customer satisfaction.
Operational Support:
Support and supervise the local partner in preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Assist with on-site acceptance testing (SAT) with partners and subcontractors prior to system commissioning.
Project and Installation Monitoring:
Monitor, maintain, and install systems for airport or institutional clients in Spain and Portugal.
Geographic Flexibility:
Occasional assignments in France and Africa depending on operational needs.
Reporting Line:
Reports operationally to the Iberia zone supervisor.
