The Stock Manager ensures the efficient and secure management of all store operations, including stockroom organization, inventory control, administrative compliance, and omnichannel processes. This role supports the Store Director in optimizing store productivity, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring operational excellence.
- Ensure optimal organization of goods and stockroom to maximize store productivity and reduce customer waiting time.
- Guarantee the safety and proper handling of products and valuable materials in the warehouse.
- Supervise the flow of goods between stockroom and shop floor, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Oversee all shipping and receiving operations, including inter-store transfers, RTVs, damages, consignments, and PR/Visual deliveries.
- Monitor and manage non-core materials (e.g., packaging, stationery, client tools).
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations for all shipments.
- Manage staff uniforms (fitting, ordering, alterations, dry cleaning, and replacements).
- Support distant sales and consignment shipments, including returns management.
- Lead cycle counts and fiscal inventory processes in collaboration with HQ Operations and Store Management.
- Monitor negative items and sales orders, ensuring accurate ticketing and inventory records.
- Maintain loss prevention standards through adherence to store policies.
- Respond to corporate inquiries regarding discrepancies and missing documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all administrative procedures, including store administration and cash management.
- Support the Store Director in monitoring store expenses and maintaining budget controls.
- Ensure proper execution of banking procedures and cost monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with the Store Director to plan and organize store activities.
- Allocate and dispatch workload within the team, ensuring balanced task distribution.
- Act as a problem solver and team player, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Support the training and development of the stock and operations team.
- Assist team members in managing delicate sales and after-sales situations (returns, repairs, complaints).
- Ensure compliance with company procedures for all customer service processes.
- Promote the correct use of digital tools and systems, identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure full adherence to omnichannel processes and service level agreements.
- Monitor and manage dedicated omnichannel supplies and logistics.
- Oversee all store security and maintenance issues.
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements and health & safety regulations.
- Participate in store maintenance and window set-ups.
- Provide operational support to the Visual Merchandising team during launches and window changes.
