About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental Paris within the Room Service Department in Paris, the Room service Supervisor will oversee and be personally involved in all operational aspects of a particular shift to assure all service steps are followed. He will monitor guest orders to be delivered efficiently and in a timely manner and maintain the In Room Dining area organised under the guidance of the respective managers.
As Room service Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Prepare the setup according to established standards to welcome guests.
- Serve meals in rooms.
- Check on guest satisfaction.
- Follow up with various hotel departments (kitchen, reception, housekeeping, etc.).
- The In-Room Dining Supervisor is responsible for the service provided in our rooms and suites during the night.
- They must have a perfect knowledge of the menu and dishes and maintain close contact with our guests.
- Assist the Manager and their assistant in supervising the team.
As Room service Supervisor, we expect from you:
- Be thorough, organized, attentive, and courteous.
- Hospitality industry diploma
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Successful experience of 2 years as a Chef de Rang in hospitality industry
- Initiative and enthusiasm.
- Proficiency in English.
