What will you contribute?
We are looking for an AI Engineering Manager to lead a team of data scientists and AI engineers within the TCM Innovation Group. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, playing a critical part in delivering cutting-edge GenAI solutions. You will define best practices, drive strategic technical decisions, and ensure the successful deployment of scalable, robust, and maintainable AI systems in production.
Responsibilities & Deliverables: Your deliverables will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of 5–10 AI engineers and data scientists.
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of AI and GenAI projects, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with business objectives.
- Define and implement the AI technical strategy, including architecture, tooling, and development standards.
- Remain actively involved in hands-on development, including code reviews, performance optimization, and technical design.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and software engineers to shape and execute the AI roadmap.
- Make informed, forward-looking technical decisions that balance speed, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and innovative team culture that encourages continuous learning and collaboration.
- Stay at the forefront of AI research and trends, integrating relevant innovations into our solutions.
- Contribute to the organization’s AI transformation through strategic thinking and technical leadership.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on AI/ML.
- 8+ years of software development experience, including 3/4+ years in AI/ML/GenAI engineering.
- Proven experience managing and mentoring AI engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, with hands-on experience in GenAI, LLMs, NLP, and conversational AI.
- Demonstrated success in deploying GenAI solutions in production environments.
- Proficiency in Python and large-scale analytics and machine learning libraries.
- Experience with modern AI frameworks and tools (e.g., LangGraph, MCP, ..).
- Knowledge of capital markets and financial products is a strong plus.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
