The Leading Hotels of the World is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Coordinator to support our European Groups team, with a special focus on the French and German markets based in Paris. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and international sales environment, contributing directly to the success of one of the world's most prestigious luxury hospitality brands.
Responsibilities:
- Support for the European groups team
- Handles day to day office work and follow up in an effective and timely manner
- Manages the groups diary for hotelier meetings
- Manages the hotelier interaction for promotions, offers
- Manages the creation of setting up events, managing follow ups, client guest lists, event planning from start to finish
- Manages processes and acts as main point of contact from initial lead / brief to final consumption and follow up for Europe groups team
- Adhere to set standards and 24-hour response time
- Managing the database via Salesforce and timely reports according to EMEA Sales standards
- Liaises with relevant Managers / Directors, to ensure a smooth as possible and thus successful handling of any inquiry
- Runs and files statistic reports on all groups handled with regards to status, revenue, production etc.
- Supporting the groups team in creation and planning of webinars and presentations
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the Sales Team with conducting client research and acquisition when appropriate
- Representing the brand and member hotels as well as the LHW business principles and values at various events, including trade fairs, LHW road shows and showcases
- Partaking in and/or running projects as and when necessary
Required Skills:
- Hotel Apprenticeship, Bachelor or Diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management. Previous working experience within the luxury hospitality is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written with fluent English
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and facilitation skills
- Quantitative and prioritization skills, plus outstanding organization skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple accounts and requests effectively
- Cultural sensitivity, internationally minded
- Work under a high workload and tight deadline
- Proficient in MS-Office, particular Word, and Excel, as well as Salesforce.com experience (advantage but not essential)
- Flexible team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Interest to learn and explore new business opportunities
