Your Role:
As the Program and Student Services Coordinator you will support students throughout their programs, from logistics to cultural integration, academic affairs, and career and internship opportunities, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience. As the Program and Student Services Coordinator you will be housed within different departments depending on work requirements at various points of the year and will enjoy working across all aspects of the student experience, getting broad exposure to multiple aspects of study abroad program delivery.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as a point of contact for students, providing information and resources.
- Plan and execute program activities, including student excursions and local events.
- Assist with student activities, arrivals, and orientations to help students navigate their new environment.
- Support administrative duties like reception, mail handling, and student communications.
- Support housing placements, and assist with student accommodations.
- Administrate class schedules and book co-curricular field studies.
- Source local internship opportunities for CEA CAPA students.
- Be part of the emergency phone rotation for student support.
- Collaborate with local and international staff and external partners to enhance program success.
- Manage stakeholder relationships with partnering University institutions and faculty.
- Support the Center Director with ad-hoc program and administrative tasks.
What Makes a Great Candidate:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Fluency in English and French required.
- Experience working with students, particularly international students.
- Experience of housing coordination.
- Ability to work with diverse identities.
- Experience living or working abroad, with a knowledge of the local culture, history, business practices, and academic environment.
- Knowledge of the U.S. higher education system.
- Authorization to work in the location of the role is required.
