The communications department at INSEAD is responsible for managing the institution's image and reputation by developing internal and external communication strategies. It ensures the effective transmission of the school's values, achievements, and initiatives to its stakeholders.
INSEAD is seeking an Apprentice Communications to join our communications department. This is an apprenticeship based at our Europe Campus in Fontainebleau, France.
About the Job
This is a transversal role where you will gain experience working across the entire Communications department, including social media, media relations, website management and internal communications. You will create engaging content for INSEAD social media channels, contribute to our media relations activities, support website management and internal communications.
Your role within the team
Media & social media support:
- Assist social media management of large projects, events and community management.
- Create dynamic written, graphic and video content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites, and encourages audience participation.
- Work as part of a team to develop social media campaigns.
- Analyse and report audience information and demographics, and success of existing social media projects.
- Propose new ideas and concepts for social media content.
- Use timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analysing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimise visits.
- Maintain up to date and relevant media database.
Website support:
- Update website pages with written and graphical content.
- Analyse current website user experience and provide recommendations.
- Analyse competitor sites and report back on key takeaways and inspiration points.
- Support with SEO related tasks (e.g. fixing broken links, updating Meta titles).
- Support with updating of user guide and guideline documents.
Internal communications support:
- Support internal newsletter(s) creation.
- Share ideas for internal communications content creation in various formats.
- Update intranet pages and news posts.
The ideal candidate profile
- Studying towards or holder of Bachelors Degree in Communications, Business Studies or a related field.
- Creative individual with skills in content creation such as writing, design, video.
- Enthusiastic about learning new skills in content creation, communications, web management.
- Proficient with content creation and content management tools and/or willing to learn.
- Fluency in English.
