Environment Project Engineer

Scope of work
You will be in charge of carrying out environmental impact studies of wind projects and environmental monitoring. You ensure environmental expertise in conjunction with dedicated experts, associations, state departments, study and industrial providers.

Your main tasks will be:

  • Coordinating and monitoring the completion of the environmental studies necessary to compile applications for authorisation and concessions in compliance with and enforcing existing and future regulations,
  • Start consultations with design offices and stakeholders to carry out environmental studies,
  • Read and validate environmental reports,
  • Ensure good relations with the reference scientific experts and with the environmental associations of the project territory concerned,
  • Preparing the environmental documents necessary for the implementation of the construction phases,
  • Ensure that all requirements and commitments, acted within the framework of the authorizations issued by the prefects, are carried out on time and in accordance with the requirements of the authorisation order,
  • Manage monitoring and monitoring programmes (birds, fish, benthos, mammals, landscapes, seabeds, fishing, etc.),
  • Ensure the implementation of scientific and environmental commitments, non-regulatory, made with third parties: associations, scientific institutions, territorial partners…
  • Keep track of our participation in environmental research and development projects.
Qualifications / Background
  • Certificate in Oceanography, Marine Biology, Marine Environment,
  • ARCGIS Knowledge can be a plus,
  • Knowledge of procedures, permissions appreciated.
