Objective of the role (Why)
- The Accounting & Consolidation department is, within Ayvens Finance, responsible for the accounting production of both
consolidated and standalone accounts for Group’s holdings, the regulatory production, the realisation of financial studies
and the insurance oversight.
- The contemplated role aims at strengthening the current set-up for financial studies and insurance supervision.
Areas of responsibilities (What)
The role consists in both leading and participating to some ad-hoc studies that cover a wide range of topics as well as set up a
closer supervision on insurance businesses of the Group. This include then the following missions:
Financial Supervision & Studies
- Formal validations (through investment file) of any intra-group ‘capital’ transaction such as capital increase, transfer of
shares, internal ‘M&A’
- Coordination of dividend process and optimize group dividend policy and consider legal restructuring whenever it is
needed in coordination with Tax department.
- Central role of coordination between other finance functions, i.e. the Accounting & Controlling team, the Treasury &
ALM team, the local Finance directors, and with other departments of the holding
- Support on any business matters or transversal group projects assigned ad-hoc
Insurance Oversight
Implement enhanced supervision of the Group's insurance activities. This includes:
- Understanding actuals, estimates and budget figures of the insurance subsidiary Ayvens Insurance, located in Dublin (Ireland) in cooperation with the entity CFO.
• Supervision of the results of insurance activities located in the operating entities in support of the Global Insurance Director and in conjunction with the regional CFOs and those of the entities. • Facilitation of the budget process and monthly committees on insurance results.
Competencies (How)
- Strong knowledge on financial analysis, financial statements understanding & accounting under IFRS
- Ability to apprehend, analyse and challenge business topics.
- Capacity to work with various interlocutors from Finance and other departments (Legal, Compliance, Risks,…)
- Rigor and capacity of synthesis
- Communication skills (customer/supplier logic and teamwork). Ability to work in a sensitive relational context.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues in a crisp and clear manner.
Presentation skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and meet tight deadlines with high
quality, accurate output

Education / knowledge
- Master’s degree or equivalent on Finance, Accounting and/or Insurance

- Strong analytical skills
Experience
- 5+Years of experience in Accounting or FP&A or M&A/Strategic department of an international company.
IT Applications
- No specific requirement, knowledge of SAP BPC would be a plus.
