Today, we are looking for a freelance Senior Rust Developer (M/F) for one of our clients, a software company specialized in embedded analytics with an international scope.

Key responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and deliver new features for the Rust-based query engine, responsible for real-time processing of large datasets.
- Maintain and improve the existing code base.
- Monitor and optimize the platform’s performance and stability.
- Actively contribute to shaping the analytics experience of tomorrow.
Technical environment :
- Main languages: Rust (backend), JavaScript / TypeScript / Node.js (supporting tools).
- Databases: SQL, data warehouses, ETL pipelines.
- Related domains: BI, data analytics, data visualization.

About you :
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years of hands-on Rust development in backend applications.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases, ETL pipelines, and data warehouses.
- Enjoy designing algorithms and ideally hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science.
- Analytical mindset, detail-oriented, and performance-driven.
- Strong team player but also capable of working independently.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Able to work within CET time zone (±1h).
Contract and compensation :
- Permanent contract (remote or hybrid).
- Up to 80k turnover.
