The Role
Veeva is looking for an EU-based, experienced R&D IT program leader to manage implementation programs at Veeva’s largest Vault customers within Europe and guide the transformation of their R&D technology landscape.
You will be at the center of managing all customer-facing teams and coordinating closely with sales to optimize Veeva’s products and services to meet the customer's business needs and drive advancement opportunities for new product sales and product adoption.
As the Global Program Manager, you will own customer success with intensity and lead as the services executive that partners deeply across Veeva teams, including Product and Sales, to bring the best of Veeva in benefit to the customer. This is a remote, full-time, customer-facing role that will work from both customer site, home office, and offsite meetings. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the European Union or the UK. What You'll Do
- Service Delivery accountability for one or more Global Vault implementations in Clinical, Safety, and Regulatory at our strategic accounts
- Deep partnership with customer leadership, IT, and business stakeholders to define deployment, governance, and transformation roadmap
- Collaborate and actively communicate with the Sales, Strategy, Product Management, Customer Success, and Services Leadership teams at Veeva, keeping everyone aligned and informed on program milestones and activities
- Develop strategic relationships with the customer’s IT and business executives. Work with them to define deployment, governance, and transformation roadmaps. Become the customer’s trusted advisor
- Develop implementation proposals and lead services contract negotiations
- Oversee the project execution performed by the Professional Services team. Act as the first line of defense for customer or internal escalations
- Ensure a smooth transition to, and oversee, the post-deployment application management teams
Requirements
- 7+ years in large-scale program management within the Pharmaceutical R&D space (Clinical, RIM, or Safety)
- In-depth Pharmaceutical R&D knowledge in at least 1 of the following functional areas – Clinical, Regulatory, Safety, Quality, Manufacturing
- Consulting experience across multiple functional areas for enterprise pharma clients
- Track record of success leading diverse global teams to deliver large, complex GxP technology implementations with outstanding results
- Experience in technology strategy and roadmap development for large customers, ideally in GxP environments
- Proven ability to critically and objectively interpret, evaluate and communicate information to effectively influence at the executive level
- Skills in problem resolution, negotiation, dealing with ambiguity, establishment of effective processes, influencing without authority
- Works well with third parties: can organize and galvanize a disparate group of people, keeping cadence in the program high
- Based in the EU or UK and able to travel up to 50% of the time
