We foster a collaborative and dynamic environment where employees can make a real difference in the well-being of animals.As the Group Industrial Competitiveness Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving efficiency, productivity, and cost optimization across Virbac's global industrial operations (20 industrial sites). You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance our manufacturing processes, supply chain, and overall cost structure, ensuring Virbac maintains a strong competitive edge in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
Productivity Program Leadership: Drive the global productivity program, targeting a 2% year-on-year improvement in cost of goods sold.
Pipeline Management: Develop and manage the productivity pipeline, identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing projects to optimize material costs, conversion costs (internal & CMO), supply chain cost, and indirect expenses
Project Implementation: Oversee the implementation of productivity projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Committee of Productivity: Collaborate with Manufacturing, Sourcing, Supply, QA, QC, MSAT, Finance & controlling, HSE to foster a culture of continuous improvement through specific CoProds and manufacturing workshops involving shopfloor.
Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, cost savings, and operational efficiency (OEE, scrap rate), first time right, providing regular world-wide consolidation reports to Top management.
Best Practice Implementation: Identify and implement best practices in lean manufacturing, process optimization, and supply chain management and share it across the global organization
Strategic & structural Initiatives to accelerate: Drive strategic initiatives such as industrial & supply network rationalization, operational excellence & lean manufacturing activities, Design to cost, write-offs & non-quality cost reduction, and product streamlining
Data Analysis: Utilize data to drive decision-making and identify areas for improvement, Support the integration of new technologies and innovations to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
15+ years of experience in a similar leadership role within the pharmaceutical, Biological, Chemical, or a related industry, with a focus on industrial competitiveness and productivity improvement at global level
Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing productivity improvement programs, achieving significant cost savings.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, process optimization methodologies, and sourcing & supply chain management best practices.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Financial acumen and a deep understanding of cost accounting and financial analysis.
Experience with productivity tools and methodologies.
Fluency in English
