We are looking for a Business Development manager with a main mission to improve B.I.G. Yarns' market position and achieve financial growth.
This role defines, together with the General Manager, Global Sales Director and R&D Manager long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Your role as Business Development Manager
- You will be fully involved in the Innovation process and will be part of the team responsible of the definition and implementation of all aspects needed to capture the business development in a sustainable way.
- You write the business plan for new business opportunities after collection of the inputs of all relevant function domains.
- You develop deeper market knowledge insights and are able to document these on paper with the final goal to implement these into solutions that address the respective industry’s concerns and needs, with focus on Commercial and Automotive markets
- You develop an internal and external network to anticipate industry trends and captures potential emerging needs doing so.
- You increase sales opportunities and hereby maximizes revenue for the BIG Yarns organization.
- You manage and optimize product range within a global scope.
- You lead product rationalization and new product development initiatives.
Your experience & competencies

You are well versed in driving sales and business development initiatives, preferably in the PP (polypropylene) or related industry.

You have m arket knowledge of the plastic food packaging and/or healthcare packaging industry.

You have a proven track record for identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities.

You have a proven track record for building relationships and influencing key decision makers at small and large organisations.

You have strong communication and negotiation skills.

You are proficient in English; additional languages are an advantage.
