About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented End User Computing (EUC) Support Specialist to join our onsite IT support team. This individual will serve as the first line of support for all end-user computing needs, infrastructure-related troubleshooting, and hands-and-feet support for our global IT teams.
The ideal candidate will have experience with IT support, a solid understanding of hardware and software troubleshooting, and strong communication skills in both English and French.
Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral IT & Infrastructure Support
- Monitor the Client's ServiceNow queue for tickets related to networking, PC/laptops, compute, and A/V devices requiring hands-and-feet assistance.
- Collaborate with the SIO, NOC, and Infrastructure teams to perform on-site troubleshooting per provided instructions.
- Document troubleshooting steps in ServiceNow and update site-specific playbooks.
- Join major incident calls or war rooms as needed and provide timely status updates.
- Comply with all EHS and Cybersecurity protocols when working onsite.
End User Services
- Provide onsite and remote support for end-user devices (laptops, desktops).
- Perform device imaging, driver installations, and configuration of OneDrive, secure print, and VPN setups per SOPs.
- Support asset management and inventory updates in ServiceNow.
- Provide executive support for visiting senior leaders.
- Assist with onboarding tasks and site events, including setup and basic IT orientation.
Audio/Video Support
- Conduct proactive conference room checks and resolve any A/V issues.
- Work closely with the A/V team to support incident resolution.
- Handle equipment refresh tasks and prepare devices for shipment.
Network and Compute Support
- Provide physical support for troubleshooting, racking/staging, and verifying network and compute infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls).
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of communication rooms (MDF/IDF).
- Assist with firmware upgrades and equipment resets (e.g., WAPs, Red/Black phones).
Business Continuity Support
- Participate in business continuity planning and provide hands-on assistance during scheduled maintenance or outage scenarios.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in EUC or IT Support roles
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills across hardware, OS, and networking basics
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
- Ability to work independently and escalate appropriately
- Professional fluency in English and French (C1 level or higher)
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with A/V conferencing tools and endpoint configuration
- Understanding of basic network infrastructure (MDF/IDF rooms, switches, WAPs)
- IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft MCSA, etc.) are a plus
