Purpose of Job
As a Junior Production Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of dialogue production for a multitude of projects: from indie mobile to AAA console games, as well as tech projects in both English and other localized languages, helping to ensure the timely completion of agreed deliverables and milestones to a very high standard, while keeping to budget.
As part of your role, you will also assist Production Managers on larger projects, supporting them with client communications, prep and running of sessions, and providing holiday cover for them.
This role requires an excellent proficiency in English (spoken and written) and a presence in our facilities in the Paris area (Vanves).
Requirements
Duties and Key Responsibilities
For your own projects, tasks include but are not limited to:
Prepare initial dialogue production cost estimates for clients based on the client’s early brief.
Prepare detailed cost estimates as the client’s brief expands.
Review the initial vendor contracts and talent agreements where necessary, identify obvious errors or points for negotiation.
Responsible for retrieving legal paperwork signed and filed properly.
Working with casting team on casting timelines, organising casting assets from client, scheduling & holding auditions.
Prepare non-disclosure agreements and contracts and monitor up to signature completion.
Prepare project schedule of actors and their characters to record, including pencil, booking sessions and other critical working conditions required by the project.
Build Purchase Orders for talent, directors, and other service providers.
Prepare recording scripts for actors, directors, and studio engineers, along with any other essential assets required for the smooth running of the recording sessions.
Brief recording studio teams about the production.
Meet & greet clients & talents during auditions and at the start of sessions.
Track the progress of the recording sessions throughout, updating schedules and actor, director, and studio bookings.
Integrate script updates and changes throughout the production and adjust schedules accordingly.
Track the progress of final audio assets deliverables, by liaising with the company’s audio edit/delivery team.
Liaise with the client throughout.
Track all costs throughout.
Prepare final costs for the client to raise their purchase/work order.
Handle all queries and issues arising.
Liaising with multiple departments to ensure the correct information is reaching the correct teams in a timely manner.
For Production Manager’s projects, tasks include but are not limited to:
Schedule actors for auditions and recording sessions.
Type up directors’ notes from auditions, inputting them into Actor Database.
Build Purchase Orders for talent, directors, and other service providers.
Prepare non-disclosure agreements and contracts and monitor up to signature completion.
Send out comprehensive emails to talent and directors in preparation of auditions and sessions.
Assist with script preparation and tracking, as required.
Meet & greet talent during auditions and at the start of sessions.
Assist Production Managers with meet & greet of clients and aid clients throughout the day, as required.
Assist Production Managers in keeping schedules and tracking documents up to date throughout recordings.
Other

Knowledge, Experience and Skills
Experience in a role requiring a similar overall project management skill set.
Excellent client facing and internal communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
Knowledge of voice acting industry.
Experienced knowledge and use of Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel, ideally comfortable using formulas such as (but not limited to) SUMIFS and COUNTIFS to produce stats in relation to dialogue scripts.
Both a self-starter, able to work alone as and where necessary, and a team player, able to muck in at all levels to get the job done.
Comfortable both taking instruction from senior members of staff and giving instruction to other members of staff including external partners.
Critical thinking to identify potential project issues before they arise.
Continually assessing client/supplier requests to identify where budget may be impacted and conducting the relevant comms to resolve.
Desirable:
An interest in games and/or games production, making conversing with clients easier and more productive.
An interest in programming and implementation (especially dialogue) to make understanding client pipelines and requests easier.
An interest in casting and the Paris voice talent pool.
An interest in developments within the games industry and the consequential growth of the company in terms of services on offer / lines of business, etc.
