Joining the program management team, you will strategize to ensure regulatory compliance and effective quality and configuration management. To an extent, your role will involve strengthening the product assurance framework across the program life cycle.
Internally, you will navigate the organization to ensure the proper implementation of quality requirements. Externally, you will interface with relevant institutions and authorities to demonstrate Dark’s spacecraft compliance and secure necessary authorizations.

First Missions
- Getting up to speed with the current spacecraft and mission design
- Consolidating the programme’s quality management system
- Consolidating the programme’s configuration management system
Responsibilities
- Consolidating and enforcing quality assurance processes and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
- Supporting the development and selection of methods for analysis, testing, and inspections to ensure manufacturing, test, and integration readiness
- Collecting, tracking, and analysing non-conformance trends to evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions
- Developing quality criteria to support supplier selection activities
- Implementing configuration management control and generating records for traceability of deliverable products
- Conducting regular reviews and audits to assess compliance with quality standards and identify opportunities for improvement
- Being the primary point of contact for quality-related inquiries and issues, providing timely resolution and escalation as necessary
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a similar position
- Ideal background from the aerospace/defense industry (e.g., MBDA, Thales, Dassault, Safran, etc.)
- Demonstrated expertise in quality management
- Knowledge of the different phases of an industrial project (development through qualification)
- Familiarity with applicable standards, certifications, and regulations (FSOA, ECSS, MIL, NASA NPRs, EN9100, ISO 14300, ISO 23461, ISO 27025 etc.)
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively summarize complex information
- Interpersonal and leadership capabilities
- As we have an international team, knowledge of technical English is required. Fluency in French is a plus
