1.Position Summary
Is an experienced operational manager who plan Business Strategy and goals, manage a team of sales representatives within a defined geographical area and who monitor efficient revenue growth in such area.
Demonstrate a solid technical understanding of Abbott products and markets, proven sales skills and leadership. Will also handle commercial relationship on defined key / large accounts.
2.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Key Activities)
- Carries out duties in compliance with established business policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates commitment to the development, implementation and effectiveness of applicable Quality Processes
- Responsible for exhibiting professional behaviour with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices.
- Responsibility to understand and maintain awareness of the quality consequences which may occur from the improper performance of their specific job.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
- Owns sales revenue growth on defined area, managing a team of sales representatives
- Lead a team of sales representatives, of the area of responsibility
- Work closely with General Manager and of Human Resources for recruitment, on boarding, development of the sales team
- Contribute on a daily basis to the sales team performance, using management tools appropriately which include coaching, and mentoring.
- Is in charge of planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing individual job contribution and performance
- Is contributing to sales effectiveness, getting efficient sales plans to achieve sales strategic goals
- Is controlling the sales quotas’ achievement and define any actions that may support it
- May act as a problem solver in complex sales situation
- Contribute to maintain and expands customer base applying Abbott sales methodology to the sales team interaction: using analytical template, asking powerful questions, opening on the way to build strong rapport with key customers and on the way to identify new customer opportunities.
- Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Is acting a quality representative locally aligned with the company QMS, supporting Country Management for audits, identification for improvements trends and change implementation
- Responsible to get the team trained appropriately in order to get the required product knowledge and solutions, and the expected sales leadership characteristics.
- Leads internal Key business projects such as CRM implementation and Connectivity partnership

Education and/or Experience
- Degree in Business or similar
- Expertise in sales methodology deployment
- Good knowledge of products lines
- Strong expertise on Abbott markets ‘situation and competition.
