Overall functional objective
Operational Resilience is transversal to all departments of the organization. There is therefore an increased need for central coordination across the organization and the Group which has launched a dedicated program.
The role is designed to meet this objective, being responsible for the consolidation of all risks relating to Operational Resilience within the 1st Line of Defence (LoD1) of LCH SA.
The role aims at implementing a comprehensive oversight of these risks through an adequate governance, an enhanced reporting management, and a smooth coordination acrossr SA departments while seeking efficiency and synergies among the Group and other LSEG entities.
The role will promote a centralised coordination to build a coherent Operational Resilience framework.
This role is part of the First Line Risk Resilience team (COO office) and reports to the Head of First Line Resilience.
Operational responsibilities:
  • Has an overview of all resilience risks managed within the team and can act as a back up of the team leader
  • May represent LCH SA in any resilience-related forums in the organization, the Group, or the industry
  • Collaborates on the scoping and design of the Digital Operational Resilience (DOR) strategy of the entity, presented annually to the Management Body
  • Leads the DOR testing program of the CCP
  • Coordinates the delivery of the regulatory periodic requirements, such as the Annex of the Rapport Annuel du Contrôle Interne dedicated to ICT risks, linked to the DORA regulation
  • Oversees the risk management framework deliverables, e.g. corpus of documents, trainings monitoring, Resilience budget
  • Redesigns and consolidates all risk reports to provide a unique and shared view on risks between the first and second lines of defence
  • Organizes and chairs the Important Business Service Resilience Working Group
  • Acts as back up of risk domains leaders
  • Ensures coordination within the Group and the Markets division, in coordination with the Operational Resilience Program Lead
Develop and manage main partnerships with:
  • Other Risks Leads in the LoD1, e.g. Tech, Cyber, Physical Security
  • Second Line Operational Resilience and Tech & Cyber Risks Leads, and their teams
  • Heads and COOs of Business Lines
  • LSEG Operational Resilience partners
  • Financial authorities when required
Experience Required
  • Significant experience in the financial industry, with risk management dimensions
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to interact with multiple teams and to foster a positive influence
  • Experience in presenting projects to various partners, including Senior Management, with proven skills in synthesizing clear, concise updates
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory environment relating to resilience matters
  • Fluency in English and ability to work in international environment
