We are now looking for a Service Account Manager to join our Special Applications Business which is part Wärtsilä Energy Business Services.
The position is permanent job. The preferred location for the position is in Paris, other locations in France are possible locations.
Context
In this position, your work will be part of the Sales team of the Special Applications Business which customers are Nuclear Operators for the maintenance of Emergency Diesel Generators (EDG) and the French Army for the maintenance of Battle Tanks engines.
You will not be working alone, even though the work requires a high level of independency, as you will have the support from the Sales Team, Parts coordination team and Sales Support Team to prepare the offers and the contracts. You will also receive the support of the Technical Department, the Supply Chain department, the Obsolescence Team and from the Operations Department.
For us to be the best match, we expect you to have understanding in Nuclear & Military Business criticality and complexity and experience from working with large accounts. As an ideal candidate, you have experience in Sales, used to deal with complex terms and conditions and knowledge in Nuclear Liabilities.
Your Customer is KNDS France which is one of Wärtsilä Special Applications major Customers. KNDS is being the one European biggest integrator of military vehicles.
Current Service Account Manager is taking another position within the organization and needs to be replaced to continue to serve KNDS until the current Leclerc tank is replaced by a new one after 2040.
What will you be doing
As Service Account Manager, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Manage the customer relationship on the Sales side
- Develop with the contract management team new sales opportunities
- Put in place Long Term Contracts according to Special Applications strategy.
- Lead the Contract / offer preparation together with the Sales Support Team
- Organize, Attend and Lead meetings with Customer to present, negotiate offers / contracts
- Update CRM, prepare and present all offers and contract reviews in accordance with internal procedures and quality insurance manual and nuclear business contracting policy.
- Issue MOM of all relevant meetings
- Organize Weekly Internal Meetings and Monthly meetings with the customers
- Prepare and follow action plan further to the meetings
- Send offers, organize offer feedbacks with customer / SAM / Operations
- Update CRM accordingly
To be successful in this role, we expect you to:
- Be able to speak French with your Customer
- Create strong Customer relationships with different Stake holders on the customer side
- Develop with them the right opportunities to prolong the life expectation of their engine for the next 20 years
- Be present on the large exhibitions that take place in this business
- Collect market information to understand the business needs and generate new opportunities
In this role, some travel is required to meet with your customers. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel approximately 10%, even though most of the meetings are held virtually.
