What you’ll do & Who you are
To strengthen the specialized Monetization Feature Team based in Paris, we are looking for a Senior Golang Backend Developer.
The team is mainly responsible for the following areas :
- Development of a new range of specialized offers while considering a personalized experience for our purchase journeys in our Vehicles, Real Estate, and Consumer Goods domains
- Integration of recurrence when activating specialized offers for our professionals and individuals
- Retention of our users by offering targeted rewards
- Integration of AB test triggers on our specialized offers and packs across our different markets
The multidisciplinary team consists of 8 people :
- 1 Product Manager
- 1 Engineering Manager
- 1 Quality Analyst
- 2 backend developers (including the position to be filled)
- 1 web developer
- 1 iOS developer
- 1 Android developer
You will report to Thomas, the team's Engineering Manager. We collaborate daily with other Feature Teams to ensure business and technical consistency. You will also participate in the life of the leboncoin backend community, which meets every two weeks to share best practices, presentations, technical projects, etc.
Your missions:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and high-performance backend services
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our microservices architecture
- Collaborate closely with PM, QAA, UX, and Front End teams to assess the technical feasibility of features, estimate them, and implement them
- Optimize the performance and scalability of our services
- Optimize existing systems
- Ensure the quality and robustness of services through various tests : unit, integration, automated, functional, ...
- Maintain and enrich technical documentation
- Be proactive in proposing ideas for both technical and product aspects

Qualifications :
- You have at least 5 years of experience in this type of position
- You have successful experience in GO development and have professional or personal projects around it
- No degree required, passion and competence are sufficient
- Familiar with distributed architectures, event-driven systems, microservices, RESTful APIs, and monitoring (datadog, ...)
- Proficiency in SQL language (particularly PostgreSQL) would be appreciated
- Familiar with Kafka or other message broker systems
- Accustomed to Scrum/Agile methodologies and DevOps
- Ability to work in a team and share knowledge
- Autonomous and pragmatic
