We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and results-driven individual to join our team as a Senior Business Development Representative. As an integral part of Questel's Sales Development Representative team, you will be responsible for generating leads & meetings to support Sales teams to drive business. Over time, this role will also encompass leadership responsibilities by participating in coaching and mentoring sessions for the junior BDR team, helping to enhance performance and foster professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales Support
- Build and cultivate professional relationships with C-level executives by initiating and maintaining communications to generate new opportunities.
- Drive the sales pipeline by generating qualified meetings through outbound calling and email campaigns, focusing on all product and service lines related to IP.
- Collaborate closely with sales managers to identify evolving priorities and align BDR activities accordingly.
- Develop and implement targeted strategies for key accounts and industry segments.
Collaboration with Other Teams
- Work in partnership with the marketing team to drive social media outreach and identify potential prospects.
- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads and ensure consistent pipeline updates.
- Provide regular reports and insights to management through CRM tools and other reporting mechanisms

- At least 3 years of work experience in business development, IP industry, sales or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in lead generation and pipeline development.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Fluency in both English & French is required.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to assess customer needs and propose solutions.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
