About the Role:
As a Senior Data Analyst at Typeform, your mission will be to work with stakeholders to parametrise and explain business performance through meaningful and interpretable metrics. You will play a key role in leveraging data to provide actionable insights that enable the Research & Development (R&D) organisation to make more informed decisions, optimise performance, and support the company’s growth.
Things you’ll do:

Be a strategic partner: Our Data Analytics organisation is a key enabler of the company’s overarching strategy and Product-Led Growth motion, not just a support function for tactical questions. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Research, Design, and Engineering) to align analytics initiatives with business objectives. Beyond performing analysis, you will help ensure we are identifying and solving the most impactful infrastructure and analytical challenges, taking the right strategic bets alongside the business.

Act as a critical conduit and translator for the business: Define and gather data from multiple sources in collaboration with the Tracking and Data Engineering teams, ensuring we can answer Typeform’s most important questions and calculate and analyse our most critical metrics in a standardised way.

Drive impactful insights for the business: Use SQL and/or Python to conduct deep-dive exploratory analysis, identify trends and opportunities, and inform our R&D and Product roadmaps by better understanding customer behaviours and needs.

Enable self-service at scale: As recurring questions are defined and translated into metrics, create and automate reports and dashboards (in Looker) to help non-technical stakeholders understand and act on the health of the business.

Guide and support experimentation: Partner with teams to design and conduct A/B tests, and analyse the results (using GrowthBook and/or Amplitude) to inform and optimise our roadmap.
What you already bring to the table:

Experience working in a B2B SaaS company

Confidence running A/B tests from ideation through to execution and readouts

An analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex problems and draw insights from data

Experience building queries with SQL and analysing data using Python or R

Strong communication skills with stakeholders across all areas of the organisation

Experience working closely with R&D teams such as Product, Research, Design, and Engineering
Extra awesome:

Deep experience in marketing science (attribution, experimentation, personalisation)

Advanced proficiency in Python

Experience with dbt

Experience building dashboards in Looker and/or Tableau

Familiarity with AWS Redshift and/or other cloud data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery)
