Senior Operations Project Manager

Responsibilities:
- Work with different teams across the operational organization (including facilities and engineering, manufacturing, MSAT, CQV, Quality, etc) to identify and analyze complex problems within the organization.
- Propose innovative and effective solutions to challenges.
- Collaborate with different teams to implement improvement strategies.
- Collect and analyze data to support decisions and recommendations.
- Present reports and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Follow up on implemented solutions to assess their effectiveness
- Adapt tools and KPIs to follow the resolution of the problem
- Budget, timeline and resource planning to evaluate and to follow
- Adapt quickly to new situations and unforeseen challenges.
- Development of best practices and business processes for Facilities and Engineering: Assist in the establishment of project management best practices and tools as well as business processes to establish efficiencies to project management organization
- Technical shutdown : with the involvement of the facilities and engineering CMMS planner, this role will be in charge of all planning aspects of the annual technical shutdown and optimization of the cross-functional tasks involved in the technical shutdown
- Allocation of resources (human, technical, financial, etc.) according to the objectives set for F&E, MSAT, CQV activities
- Draft support and organizational documents such as SOPs
- Prepare a global and day to day schedule using project management best practices
- Monitor the progress of planned activities, raise alerts if necessary, and propose appropriate schedule corrections for the global and day to day schedule
- Manage organizational and technical contingencies during equipment downtime.
- Work closely with the CMMS planner to manage the activities in the system, charge, duration, etc
- Optimize the different tasks
- Collect and analyze progress data and draw up dashboards and monitor indicators to facilitate decision-making.
- Take part in shutdown milestones and provide leadership update support.
- Contribute to shutdown analysis and feedback.
- Ensure smooth communication across teams, clients and up to leadership; ensuring regular updates to the appropriate stakeholders; managing escalation and decision-making processes.
- Risk management: Identify project issues and facilitate resolution, conduct risk management and contingency planning
- Adherence to all EHS and GMP regulations
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
- Engineering degree such as Arts et Métiers
- Minimum ~8 years of previous engineering project management experience in biotech, chemical or pharmaceutical industry. Knowledge of resource management, GMP shutdown procedures, GMP facilities and engineering and Quality Systems
- Experience with MS Office tools, MS Project, Smartsheet
- Experience with lean tools such as Ishikawa, 5W2H, etc
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma: Green or Black Belt
- Excellent organizational, rigor, relationship and communication skills
- Motivation to be part of a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team
