Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Singapore. This role is crucial in enhancing our contract logistics offerings through automation solutions. The successful candidate will build regional expertise in automation solution design, share knowledge across countries, and drive both new opportunities and retention growth with existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Implementation:
Design, develop, and implement automation solutions tailored for contract logistics, focusing on efficiency and operational excellence.
Evaluate and optimize existing automation processes to improve performance and ROI.
Cross-Country Knowledge Sharing:
Collaborate with teams across different countries to leverage best practices and lessons learned in automation solutions.
Conduct workshops and training sessions to share knowledge and build regional expertise.
Offer Development:
Create compelling automation offerings for prospects, highlighting value propositions and competitive advantages.
Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to integrate automation solutions into the service portfolio.
Customer Engagement:
Proactively engage with existing customers to present automation options, demonstrating tangible benefits to drive high retention and growth.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and aligning solutions to meet their strategic goals.
5. Performance Metrics & Reporting:
Establish key performance indicators to measure the success of automation initiatives and their impact on bottom-line growth.
Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders on the effectiveness and adoption of automation solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
