About the Role

Unilever International is the pioneering division responsible for spearheading new brand launches and forging innovative market channels within France. We drive strategic market expansion, champion breakthrough ideas, and transform business landscapes by introducing renowned brands and cultivating untapped opportunities.

Over recent years, we have successfully launched brands such as Vaseline, Cif Scrub Daddy, and Shea Moisture, while expanding into emerging retail formats and alternative channels. Our ambition is to continue redefining industry standards and sustaining market leadership through bold innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full spectrum of Unilever International France’s business development, from market entry strategy to the execution of new brand launches and pioneering channel development.

  • Identify, evaluate, and implement high-impact business initiatives to drive revenue growth and competitive advantage.

  • Forge and nurture strong partnerships with distributors, retailers, and key market stakeholders, ensuring sustainable business relationships and expanding Unilever’s market footprint.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—finance, supply chain, legal, marketing, and global management—to ensure seamless strategic alignment and operational excellence.

  • Monitor and analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to inform decision-making and adapt strategies proactively.

  • Oversee the execution of commercial plans, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • At least 3-4 years of hands-on business development experience, ideally within fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).

  • Proven success in launching brands, building and managing distributor networks, and capturing new market opportunities.

  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a track record of implementing high-value business solutions.

  • Entrepreneurial drive with autonomy, resilience, and a goal-oriented approach.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Fluency in English; additional language proficiency and international exposure are highly regarded.
