Program managers are key to ensuring the smooth operation of the EUI commercial business, supporting the country General Managers (GMs) and Regional GM. They build systems and processes as the team scales in addition to driving certain strategic and tactical projects on behalf of the leadership team. This role works very closely with the country GMs as well as functional leaders across Europe to deepen relationships, maximise growth opportunities and build alignment.
Core Responsibilities:
Strategic Projects / Tasks
- Working with the market GBS Leadership team to drive strategic projects – planning, priorities, HC planning, bottom up revenue planning, Quarterly reporting, alignment with strategy team
- Support the delivery of the business plan / strategy - revenue delivery / forecasting / identifying risks
- Internal consulting / support for GBS leads on specific team projects (account management, sales strat etc)
- Defining and leading strategic projects – go to market, sales strategy, auction recovery, creative fatigue
Stakeholder Management
- Ensuring the GBS team is prepared/ has input for senior meetings, QBRs, Finance meetings
- Driving executive meeting actions and holding owners accountable for delivery
- POC for internal business units – legal, ad policy, sales ops, PSO, XFN collaboration
- Support external business C level meetings, events, client workshops
- Preparing and distributing briefing notes for GM and other leadership team members on key issues or upcoming meetings
- Comms Support: Support GM in managing interactions with internal teams and external organisations
- Partner with the sales leads to ensure that critical issues are escalated to leadership level when required
- Leverage EU program manager network to share best practice, avoid duplication, compare insights, identify risks and trends. Offer objective conflict resolution / escalation path before GM involvement
Operational
- Working closely with GM / PMO to organise off sites, agendas, and management of subsequent actions
- Escalation of issues without soaking up GM time – INT accounts, Ad Ops issues, Ad Policy, Pricing & bookings
- Providing GM support in managing priorities, internal insights, reporting KPI’s / dashboards (revenue, trends, pipeline mgt & hygiene)
- Weekly meeting cadence / strategic input / addressing key issues
- Continually looking to improve internal business processes
- Liaison with external business services (such as LinkedIn, Pathmatics etc) where required
